About us

Seagull Kitesurf School was created out of love for nature and passion for the sport. It has been a dream for the founder Lars Libak to introduce more people to the fantastic sport of kitesurfing and based on this the Seagull Surf school was created.

Why the name Seagull?

The seagull is a symbol of freedom, of floating, using the currents of life and calmly continuing this path. The seagull shows when there is wind coming and it is time to get on the water. The characteristics are that they gather in flocks and float along the white dunes.

It should be mentioned that the founder Lars Libak has a special relationship with seagulls, as he grew up by the water and played a seagull for an opera performance on Gammel Scene at the Royal Theatre. Lars was a former professional breakdancer and parkour practitioner.
